Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and managing suppliers and components for the semiconductor equipment segment.
- Develop and execute strategic commodity management plans to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and supply continuity.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through proactive supplier relationship management and contingency planning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes, reduce lead times, and enhance supplier performance.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Monitor market trends and technological advancements to identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards, including quality, environmental, and ethical sourcing requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in commodity management, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in the semiconductor or capital equipment industry, with a strong understanding of technical components and supplier landscapes.
- Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and contract management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop talent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement tools.
