Responsibility
- Lead and oversee the commissioning process for data center projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Develop and execute commissioning plans, including testing protocols, documentation, and reporting.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Conduct comprehensive system testing, troubleshooting, and validation to ensure operational readiness.
- Manage risk assessments and mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and commissioning specialists.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental regulations throughout the commissioning process.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver project milestones and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commissioning, with a focus on data center or critical infrastructure projects.
- Proven expertise in Cx.L1 to L3 commissioning processes and methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NEMA, IEEE) and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Proficiency in commissioning software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar).
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
