Responsibility
- Lead and oversee all commissioning activities, from planning to execution, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Develop and implement comprehensive commissioning plans, test procedures, and checklists for engineering systems.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to verify system readiness and compliance with design specifications.
- Conduct thorough functional and performance testing of systems, documenting results and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensure all commissioning activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
- Prepare detailed commissioning reports, including deviations, corrective actions, and final handover documentation.
- Mentor and train junior commissioning engineers and technicians on best practices and protocols.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide progress updates and address technical queries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in commissioning, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully commissioning complex engineering systems (e.g., HVAC, process plants, automation).
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, IEC) and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Proficiency in commissioning software/tools (e.g., ETAP, AutoCAD, or Primavera) is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required and work flexible hours to meet deadlines.
