Responsibility
- Oversee the commissioning process for electrical and mechanical systems in data centres.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of systems to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues.
- Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists.
- Perform system performance analysis and troubleshooting to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards throughout the commissioning phase.
- Document and report commissioning activities, including test results and deviations.
- Provide technical support and training to operational teams post-commissioning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in commissioning electrical or mechanical systems, preferably in data centres.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NEC, IEEE).
- Proficiency in using commissioning tools and software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
