Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the commissary kitchen, ensuring smooth production flow and adherence to schedules.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality control in compliance with local regulations.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of kitchen staff to achieve operational excellence and productivity goals.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to manage inventory, reduce waste, and ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
- Implement and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and consistency in production.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute production plans aligned with business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of production outputs, inventory levels, and staff performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a commissary, bakery, or food production environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP standards.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to handle fast-paced production demands.
- Proficiency in inventory management and cost-control strategies.
- Effective communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Certification in food safety or related fields is a plus.
