Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Ensure all food items are stored and handled properly to maintain freshness and quality.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations during peak hours.
- Follow portion control and waste management guidelines to minimize costs.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen station before and after service.
- Monitor and restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Contribute to the development of new menu items and specials.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef, Line Cook, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
