Responsibility
- Assist senior chefs in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and marinating ingredients.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency in dish quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Support in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the kitchen supervisor.
- Assist in plating dishes and ensuring timely delivery to the dining area.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to execute daily specials and seasonal menu items.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen or culinary environment (fresh graduates with relevant training are encouraged to apply).
- Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a positive attitude.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and early/late shifts.
- Passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field.
- Fluency in English or Indonesian is a plus.
