Responsibility

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, including mise en place and food plating.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the kitchen supervisor.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
  • Follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  • Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries, ensuring quality and freshness.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on menu changes and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen or culinary training from a recognized institution.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on teamwork and communication.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality food.
  • Familiarity with Balinese or international cuisine is a plus.
