Responsibility
- Lead the commercial and financial strategy for MEP projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and profitability targets.
- Oversee cost estimation, budgeting, and financial forecasting for projects, identifying risks and opportunities to optimize performance.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular financial reviews and variance analysis to identify trends, address discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to foster trust and long-term partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies in all commercial activities.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on project financials, performance metrics, and commercial risks to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Quantity Surveying, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Masterâs degree or professional certification (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial management, quantity surveying, or financial oversight within the construction or MEP industry.
- Proven track record of managing commercial aspects of large-scale projects, including budgeting, cost control, and contract negotiation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, conduct risk assessments, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with ERP or project management software (e.g., Primavera, SAP, or similar).
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations, tax laws, and industry standards is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
