Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the cold storage warehouse, ensuring optimal efficiency and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage inventory control, including tracking, storage, and distribution of perishable goods to minimize waste and maximize accuracy.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and maintain high productivity levels.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cold storage operations, including temperature monitoring, hygiene standards, and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and sales teams to align warehouse operations with business objectives and customer demands.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations related to cold chain logistics, food safety, and occupational health.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, order accuracy, and operational costs to senior management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and technology integration to enhance warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a cold storage or refrigerated logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of cold chain logistics, inventory management systems (WMS), and warehouse best practices.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations, including HACCP, ISO 22000, or similar food safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions to optimize warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or custom WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
