Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical installations and cold storage systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults, including wiring, circuit breakers, and control panels, to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
- Monitor and maintain refrigeration units, compressors, and cooling systems to prevent spoilage and ensure energy efficiency.
- Conduct diagnostic tests on electrical and refrigeration systems using specialized tools and equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Collaborate with facility managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance reports for record-keeping and compliance purposes.
- Ensure adherence to local and international safety standards, including OSHA and electrical code regulations, to maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff or non-technical teams on basic system operations and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational certification in Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Technician, Cold Storage Technician, or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality, food service, or industrial sector.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and electrical panels, including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols, electrical codes, and industry best practices for handling refrigeration and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is a plus; strong communication skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
