Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of cold dishes, salads, appetizers, and desserts according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Support the kitchen team in portioning, garnishing, and plating cold food items.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure freshness and quality.
- Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the cold kitchen station before and after service.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cold kitchen or similar role is required.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards.
