Responsibility
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for steel plate processing using FICEP software to ensure high precision and efficiency.
- Create and interpret technical drawings and blueprints in AutoCAD for manufacturing and fabrication processes.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to refine designs and improve machinability.
- Perform quality control checks on programmed components to verify accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve CNC machine errors or programming issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of programs, revisions, and process improvements.
- Recommend and implement cost-saving measures in material usage and machining techniques.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in CNC technology and CAD software.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer/Drafter, with a strong portfolio in steel plate processing.
- Proficiency in FICEP, AutoCAD, and other relevant CAD/CAM software.
- In-depth knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC machining principles.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-precision environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with engineers and production staff.
- Associateās or Bachelorās degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks) is a plus.
