Responsibility
- Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software to meet production specifications.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
- Conduct regular inspections of machined parts to verify dimensional accuracy and quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CNC programming and machine operation.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve workflows and reduce waste.
- Maintain detailed documentation of CNC programs, tooling setups, and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards in all machining operations.
- Train and mentor junior staff on CNC programming best practices and machine operation.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, with proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks).
- Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming for CNC machines.
- Hands-on experience with CNC milling, turning, or multi-axis machining.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-precision environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and metrology tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
