Responsibility
- Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Set up and calibrate CNC machines, ensuring they are properly configured for each production run.
- Monitor machine operations to detect and address any issues or malfunctions promptly.
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Inspect finished products to verify they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, production times, and any issues encountered.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of CNC machine operations, including setup, calibration, and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues effectively.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CNC programming software is a plus.
