Responsibility
- Develop, program, and optimize CNC machining processes for precision components using CAD/CAM software.
- Oversee the setup, calibration, and operation of CNC machines, including milling, turning, and multi-axis systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks to ensure all machined parts meet strict specifications and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CNC machinery, tooling, and programming to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and production, to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain detailed documentation of machining processes, tooling specifications, and quality control records.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, accuracy, and safety in the machining environment.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices in CNC machining and precision engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining, with proficiency in programming languages such as G-code and M-code.
- Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam, or Fusion 360) and CNC machine operation.
- Proven ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on precision and quality assurance.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100 is highly desirable.
