Responsibility
- Operate and monitor CNC machines to produce precision components according to technical specifications
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements
- Set up machines with appropriate tools, fixtures, and programs for each production run
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure products meet dimensional and surface finish requirements
- Maintain optimal machine performance through routine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Monitor material inventory and report any shortages or quality issues
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes
- Document production data and maintain accurate records of machine operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC machines (milling or turning)
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience with G-code programming and CNC control systems
- Strong understanding of machining principles and tooling selection
- Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and measuring instruments
- Good mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20kg
- Basic computer skills for data entry and machine programming
