We are seeking a highly skilled CMP (Chemical Mechanical Planarization) Equipment Engineer to join our team in Bali, Indonesia. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting state-of-the-art CMP equipment to ensure peak performance, yield, and reliability in our cutting-edge fabrication processes.
As a CMP Equipment Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, reduce downtime, and enhance process efficiency. Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CMP equipment to ensure optimal uptime and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures, process deviations, and yield issues with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with process engineers to optimize CMP parameters for improved wafer quality and throughput.
- Conduct equipment calibration, testing, and validation to meet stringent semiconductor manufacturing standards.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintenance protocols for CMP tools.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and generate detailed reports for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and mentor technicians and junior engineers on CMP equipment operation and best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging CMP technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in CMP equipment maintenance, semiconductor manufacturing, or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of CMP tools (e.g., Applied Materials, Ebara, or similar) and their subsystems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach to equipment optimization.
- Familiarity with SPC (Statistical Process Control), FMEA, and root cause analysis (RCA) methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and PLC logic for equipment diagnostics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
- Willingness to work in shift-based or on-call rotations as required by production demands.
