Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement automation systems (e.g., robotic arms, conveyor systems, PLCs) to optimize manufacturing processes in assembly plants.
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems to ensure seamless integration with existing production lines.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and ROI assessments for proposed automation projects.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including system diagrams, user manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA) in all automation initiatives.
- Provide training and technical support to operators and maintenance teams on automated systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or manufacturing engineering, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi), HMI/SCADA systems, and industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus).
- Hands-on experience with robotic systems (e.g., ABB, KUKA, Fanuc), servo motors, and motion control technologies.
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel design.
- Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications in PLC programming, robotics, or Six Sigma are a plus.
