Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud services with existing systems and applications.
- Monitor and optimize cloud performance, ensuring high availability, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Implement automation tools and scripts to streamline cloud operations and reduce manual intervention.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, providing timely support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and best practices, recommending improvements to enhance system performance.
- Document cloud architectures, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong knowledge of cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and deployment.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
