Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Implement and maintain Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration, optimizing performance and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
- Develop and enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, network security, and compliance standards.
- Optimize cloud costs by analyzing usage patterns and recommending cost-effective solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Document cloud architectures, processes, and procedures for internal and client reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS and Kubernetes.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
