Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and select high-quality clothing products from domestic and international suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize cost efficiency and inventory turnover.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking, ensuring alignment with sales forecasts.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to streamline inbound and outbound shipments, reducing lead times.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify procurement opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, ethical sourcing practices, and company policies.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or inventory management within the fashion/retail industry.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external partners.
- Knowledge of textile materials, production processes, and industry trends is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to fast-paced environments.
