Responsibility
- Oversee and manage financial aspects of oncology clinical trials, including budget preparation, tracking, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional financial policies for clinical research.
- Coordinate with principal investigators, sponsors, and finance teams to align trial budgets with research objectives.
- Process and reconcile research-related expenditures, grants, and invoices accurately and promptly.
- Develop and maintain financial tracking systems to monitor trial expenditures and forecast funding needs.
- Prepare and submit financial reports for internal stakeholders, sponsors, and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with administrative teams to streamline trial documentation, contracts, and vendor agreements.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with clinical trials to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial management, research administration, or clinical trial finance, preferably in oncology or healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of clinical trial budgeting, grant management, and financial compliance (e.g., ICH-GCP, FDA regulations).
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with clinical research processes and terminology is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) for stakeholder reporting.
