Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients with acute or chronic conditions, including metabolic disorders, diabetes, and malnutrition.
- Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans tailored to individual patient needs, medical history, and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with doctors, dietitians, and healthcare teams to integrate nutritional therapy into overall patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting dietary interventions as needed to optimize health outcomes.
- Provide evidence-based nutritional counseling to patients and families, educating them on diet modifications and lifestyle changes.
- Stay updated on the latest clinical nutrition research and apply best practices in patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences to discuss complex patient cases and treatment strategies.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and progress in compliance with medical and legal standards.
Qualifications
- Board-certified Clinical Nutrition Specialist (Sp.GK) with a valid Indonesian medical license.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in nutritional therapy, preferably in a hospital or specialized healthcare setting.
- Proven expertise in managing chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes, cardiovascular disorders, renal disease) through medical nutrition therapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively counsel patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (written and verbal) is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to interpret laboratory results, anthropometric data, and dietary histories to inform treatment plans.
- Commitment to continuing education and staying current with advancements in clinical nutrition.
- Experience working in multicultural environments is advantageous, given Baliâs diverse patient population.
