Responsibility
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans for patients based on medical history, diagnoses, and dietary needs.
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and monitor patient progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and therapists to integrate nutrition therapy into overall treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on healthy eating habits, disease-specific diets, and lifestyle modifications.
- Provide group nutrition counseling for community health programs and outpatient services.
- Stay updated with the latest clinical nutrition research and apply evidence-based practices.
- Document patient interactions and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance dietary services and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Licensed or registered dietitian (or equivalent certification recognized in Indonesia/Philippines).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy for acute and chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, cardiovascular disease, renal disorders).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and healthcare teams.
- Proficiency in English and Indonesian/Bahasa (preferred but not mandatory).
- Familiarity with EHR systems and digital health tools.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development in clinical nutrition.
