Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, including audiometry, tympanometry, and speech testing, to diagnose hearing disorders.
- Develop and implement personalized hearing rehabilitation plans, including hearing aid fittings and adjustments.
- Provide patient education on hearing health, prevention strategies, and the proper use of hearing devices.
- Collaborate with ENT specialists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with clinical and legal standards.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in audiology and apply evidence-based practices in patient care.
- Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about hearing health and early intervention.
- Manage inventory of hearing aids and audiology equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audiology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure or certification as a Clinical Audiologist (or eligibility to obtain one in Indonesia).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in hearing assessment, rehabilitation, and hearing aid fitting.
- Proficient in using audiological equipment and software for diagnostics and treatment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients of all ages.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in patient care.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development in audiology.
