Responsibility
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient intake, including recording vital signs and medical histories.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper stock of medical supplies.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing clinic calendars efficiently.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing patient records, processing paperwork, and managing electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting patients, addressing inquiries, and offering guidance on clinic procedures.
- Assist with basic medical procedures under supervision, such as wound dressing or specimen collection.
- Coordinate with laboratory and pharmacy services to ensure timely processing of tests and prescriptions.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to healthcare compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA or local regulations).
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical assisting (e.g., CMA, RMA) is a plus.
- Proven experience in a clinical or healthcare setting, preferably as a medical assistant, nurse aide, or similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Proficiency in basic medical terminology and familiarity with EHR systems.
- Compassionate and patient-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is advantageous.
