Responsibility
- Coordinate and facilitate cognitive testing sessions for adult research participants.
- Perform meticulous data collection, cleaning, and preparation for analysis.
- Apply neuropsychological testing protocols to measure cognitive functions including memory, attention, and executive function.
- Assist in the development and modification of experimental paradigms and study materials.
- Perform statistical analysis using software such as SPSS, R, or Python to derive actionable research insights.
- Draft sections of research reports, journal articles, and conference presentations.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with institutional ethics and data privacy standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in human-participant research, preferably within a psychology or neuroscience lab setting.
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SPSS, or JASP) and data management tools.
- Strong understanding of neuropsychological testing methodologies and cognitive assessment tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple project timelines simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective participant engagement and academic collaboration.
- Familiarity with ethical research practices and institutional review board (IRB) procedures.
