As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Site Utilities and Facilities Systems, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining state-of-the-art clean utility systems. Responsibility
- Serve as the primary SME for clean utilities, including purified water, clean steam, and HVAC systems.
- Oversee the design, installation, and validation of facility systems in compliance with GMP, FDA, and EMA standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of utilities into biopharma production processes.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs to ensure system reliability and uptime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to clean utilities and facility infrastructure.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for critical utility systems.
- Provide technical guidance and training to operational teams on system best practices.
- Support commissioning, qualification, and ongoing performance monitoring of utility systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Biopharmaceutical Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in clean utilities engineering within the biopharma or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven expertise in GMP-compliant facility design and validation.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, purified water, and clean steam systems.
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies (e.g., FMEA, HAZOP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
