Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance of hotel buildings, including structural, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Install, replace, or upgrade building components such as doors, windows, walls, and flooring to ensure functionality and aesthetics.
- Diagnose and resolve structural issues, leaks, or damage promptly to minimize disruptions to hotel operations.
- Maintain accurate written and digital records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and inventory of materials used.
- Collaborate with the engineering and housekeeping teams to address guest complaints or maintenance requests efficiently.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of building systems and reduce the risk of major repairs.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and hotel standards in all maintenance work.
- Assist in emergency repairs during off-hours or unexpected situations to maintain guest satisfaction and safety.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Civil Technician, preferably in the hospitality or commercial building sector.
- Vocational or technical certification in Civil Engineering, Building Maintenance, or a related field.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals.
- Strong hands-on skills in carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and basic electrical work.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
- Basic English communication skills; fluency in Indonesian is a plus.
