As a key member of our site supervision team, you will collaborate closely with the Resident Engineer to oversee contractor activities, conduct rigorous quality checks, and enforce safety regulations. Your expertise will play a critical role in delivering structurally sound and durable infrastructure that meets both client expectations and regulatory requirements.
Based in Badung (with flexibility across Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, or surrounding areas), this position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with a passion for precision and a commitment to excellence in civil engineering.
Responsibility
- Assist the Resident Engineer in daily site supervision, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of civil and structural works, including foundations, reinforcement, concrete pouring, and finishing.
- Review and approve contractor submissions, such as method statements, shop drawings, and material test reports.
- Monitor safety compliance on-site, identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions in alignment with OSHA and local regulations.
- Document and report non-conformances, defects, or deviations, proposing practical solutions to maintain project integrity.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and subcontractors, to resolve technical queries and ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inspection reports with photographic evidence and detailed observations.
- Verify that all construction activities meet industry standards (e.g., SNI, ACI, ASTM) and contractual obligations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., PMP, CEng) is a plus.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in site inspection, quality control, or construction supervision for civil/structural projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials testing, and structural analysis.
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and international standards (e.g., Eurocode, AISC).
- Proficient in using inspection tools (e.g., total stations, rebound hammers) and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera).
- Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to document findings clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, outdoor environments with occasional travel to project sites across Bali.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
