Responsibility
- Conduct daily inspections of construction sites to ensure adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and document material quality, workmanship, and progress against project timelines and budgets.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and recommend corrective actions for non-compliance or deficiencies.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical or logistical challenges.
- Verify structural integrity of buildings, roads, bridges, and other infrastructure through rigorous testing and observations.
- Ensure environmental and sustainability guidelines are followed in all construction activities.
- Coordinate with local authorities for permits, approvals, and compliance with regional building codes.
- Provide technical guidance to on-site teams to optimize efficiency and mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., PNS, SKA) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in civil inspection, construction supervision, or project management.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards (e.g., SNI, ASTM).
- Proficient in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and using inspection tools (e.g., total stations, moisture meters).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, K3) and quality control systems.
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, outdoor environments with occasional travel to project sites.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional local language skills (e.g., Balinese) are advantageous.
