Responsibility
- Design and implement optimized production systems that integrate human resources, machinery, materials, and energy for maximum efficiency
- Develop and execute process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other industrial engineering methodologies
- Conduct time-motion studies and workflow analyses to identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions
- Collaborate with operations teams to standardize work processes and implement best practices
- Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including flowcharts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions
- Analyze production data to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend capacity planning adjustments
- Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and enhance productivity
- Ensure all process designs comply with safety regulations and industry standards
- Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff on optimized processes and new technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, process optimization, or manufacturing systems design
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus), and Kaizen methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, SQL) and simulation software (Arena, FlexSim, or similar)
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart)
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal); additional languages are a plus
- Experience working in international or multicultural environments
- Knowledge of Indonesian manufacturing regulations and standards is advantageous
