Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor K3 (Occupational Health and Safety) policies in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards in civil engineering projects.
- Investigate and report incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions, proposing corrective actions.
- Organize and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors to ensure awareness and compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety protocols into construction plans and workflows.
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation, including permits, audits, and incident logs.
- Promote a safety-first culture through toolbox talks, signage, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure environmental compliance by managing waste disposal, emissions, and sustainable practices on-site.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in construction or civil projects.
- Certification in K3 (Ahli K3 Umum or K3 Konstruksi) is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian HSE regulations (e.g., Permenaker, OSHA equivalents).
- Proficient in hazard identification, risk assessment (HIRA), and incident investigation.
- Excellent communication and training skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, outdoor environments with occasional travel to project sites.
- Familiarity with ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) standards is a plus.
