Responsibility
- Oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of plantation infrastructure, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards for civil engineering projects.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for infrastructure development and repairs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align civil engineering projects with operational needs.
- Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to maintain safety and structural integrity.
- Lead a team of engineers and contractors to execute projects efficiently and sustainably.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for long-term infrastructure reliability.
- Prepare technical reports and recommendations for senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects in agricultural or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other engineering software.
- Familiarity with environmental and sustainability practices in civil engineering.
- Willingness to travel to plantation sites as needed.
