As a Civil Engineer - Purchasing, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing high-quality construction materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring cost-effective procurement for our state-of-the-art poultry facilities.

Responsibility
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for civil engineering materials, equipment, and services to support poultry facility construction and maintenance.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure cost-effective, high-quality materials while ensuring timely delivery.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to align procurement activities with budgetary and operational goals.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, pricing benchmarks, and alternative materials to optimize purchasing decisions.
- Prepare and manage contracts, purchase orders, and tender documents in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics teams to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Ensure all procured materials meet technical specifications, safety standards, and sustainability criteria for poultry industry infrastructure.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, expenditures, and supplier performance for auditing and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a masterâs degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, CSCP) is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or civil engineering, preferably in the agriculture, poultry, or food production industry.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost optimization.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, building codes, and industry standards relevant to poultry facilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with sustainable and eco-friendly construction practices is highly desirable.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia or travel as needed for site inspections and supplier meetings.
