Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and oversee preventive maintenance schedules for plant machinery, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to foster a culture of excellence.
- Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify potential issues, recommending and executing corrective actions to prevent failures.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency through proactive maintenance strategies.
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies, ensuring cost-effective procurement and availability for emergency repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, service logs, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO) to create a secure working environment.
- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, root causes of recurring issues, and opportunities for process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. Diploma with relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
- Proven expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies, including CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate maintenance staff.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems troubleshooting and repair.
- Familiarity with safety regulations (e.g., PPE, LOTO) and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, 5S).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance challenges.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) and basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, maintenance software).
