Responsibility
- Design and oversee the construction of civil and structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and constraints.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for projects.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
- Monitor construction progress, conduct quality control checks, and resolve any technical issues that arise.
- Ensure all projects adhere to safety protocols and environmental sustainability practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
- Prepare and present project reports to management and clients, highlighting progress and key milestones.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and STAAD.Pro.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Professional certification or licensure in civil engineering is highly desirable.
