Responsibility
- Create accurate 3D structural models and detailed shop drawings using Tekla Structures for steel, concrete, and composite structures.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure designs meet technical specifications and industry standards.
- Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to develop precise drafting solutions.
- Generate fabrication and assembly drawings with clear annotations, dimensions, and material specifications.
- Perform clash detection and coordinate with other disciplines (MEP, architectural) to resolve design conflicts.
- Maintain and organize project documentation, including revisions and as-built drawings.
- Adhere to local and international building codes, safety regulations, and client requirements.
- Provide technical support to on-site teams and assist in resolving construction-related queries.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structural Drafter, with proficiency in Tekla Structures (or similar software like AutoCAD, Revit Structure).
- Strong understanding of steel and concrete structural systems, including connections, beams, columns, and slabs.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, GA drawings, and BIM models.
- Familiarity with AISC, Eurocode, or other international structural standards is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and spatial visualization skills.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Experience working in consultancy or construction firms is highly desirable.
