As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing production workflows, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibility
- Plan, monitor, and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure product consistency and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Conduct regular audits of production lines to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain production documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices, safety protocols, and process improvements.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations in all production activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in using CAD software, ERP systems, and production management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex production data.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO, QMS) and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production demands.
