Responsibility
- Develop and optimize CAD models and CNC programs for construction and manufacturing projects using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Mastercam).
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret blueprints, specifications, and design requirements.
- Generate accurate cost estimates and material takeoffs for construction projects using CAD data.
- Test and refine CNC programs to ensure precision, efficiency, and compliance with project specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CNC machinery, tooling, or programming errors.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of CAD designs, CNC programs, and revision histories.
- Stay current with advancements in CAD/CAM technologies and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure all designs and programs adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., AutoCAD Certified Professional) are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in CAD design and CNC programming, with a focus on construction or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit) and CNC programming tools (Mastercam, Fusion 360, G-code).
- Strong understanding of construction estimation, material properties, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid remote/on-site environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
