Responsibility
- Design and develop wet utility systems (water, sewage, drainage) for residential, commercial, and resort projects.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using CAD and BIM software.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and government agencies to integrate utility systems into broader infrastructure plans.
- Perform hydraulic modeling and calculations to optimize system performance and sustainability.
- Oversee construction phases to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Review and approve shop drawings, as-built documents, and technical submittals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in wet utility engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in wet utility design, preferably in Southeast Asia or tropical climates.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., EPA SWMM, WaterCAD).
- Strong knowledge of local and international standards (e.g., SNI, ASTM, AWWA) for water and wastewater systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and sustainable design principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with strong communication skills in English.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
