Responsibility
- Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for ACMV projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct cost estimation, budgeting, and financial forecasting for M&E projects, optimizing resource allocation.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to develop tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies.
- Perform site inspections and measurements to verify quantities and assess project progress.
- Analyze variation orders and claims, providing recommendations for cost control and dispute resolution.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and client specifications in all QS deliverables.
- Utilize QS software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or CostX) to enhance efficiency and precision in quantity takeoffs.
- Maintain detailed records of project costs, materials, and labor to support audits and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in QS for ACMV or M&E projects, preferably in Singapore or Southeast Asia.
- Proficient in QS software (AutoCAD, Revit, CostX, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, tendering processes, and cost management principles.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with Singapore/Indonesia building codes, standards (e.g., SS, BCA), and ACMV system specifications.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Certifications in QS (e.g., RICS, SQS) or project management (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
