Responsibility
- Lead cost estimation, budgeting, and financial planning for ACMV projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client expectations.
- Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies for mechanical systems, including HVAC, chillers, and ventilation.
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost analysis for ACMV installations, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to monitor project progress, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely delivery.
- Perform risk assessments and value engineering to optimize project outcomes while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure competitive pricing for materials and equipment, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including cost forecasts, variations, and final accounts, to stakeholders and senior management.
- Mentor junior QS team members and provide technical guidance on ACMV-related cost management and contract administration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional certification).
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on ACMV (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) projects.
- Proven expertise in cost estimation, tendering, and contract management for M&E projects, preferably in hospitality, commercial, or industrial sectors.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft, or similar) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project).
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian construction regulations, international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, SMACNA), and local market trends in Bali.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Experience working in multi-cultural teams and managing stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
