Join the Office of Civil Defense as a Civil Defense Officer I and play a pivotal role in safeguarding communities in Badung, Bali. As a Civil Defense Officer, you will work alongside a dedicated team to develop and implement strategies that mitigate risks, protect lives, and ensure resilience in the face of natural and man-made disasters. Your expertise will be instrumental in coordinating emergency operations, conducting public awareness campaigns, and collaborating with local authorities to enhance community preparedness.

Responsibility
- Coordinate and execute emergency response plans during natural disasters, accidents, or other crises.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential hazards in the community.
- Organize and lead public safety training programs, drills, and awareness campaigns for residents and local organizations.
- Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and private sector partners to enhance disaster preparedness and response efforts.
- Monitor and analyze emergency situations, providing real-time updates and recommendations to senior officials.
- Maintain and inspect emergency equipment, shelters, and supply inventories to ensure readiness.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, response activities, and post-disaster recovery efforts.
- Assist in the development and implementation of civil defense policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Disaster Management, Civil Engineering, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency management, civil defense, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of disaster response protocols, risk assessment, and crisis management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions in high-stress situations.
- Proficiency in using emergency management software and communication tools.
- Physical fitness and willingness to work in challenging environments, including during emergencies.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; knowledge of local dialects is a plus.
