Responsibility
- Translate written and verbal communications between Chinese and Indonesian/English with high accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Chinese-speaking clients, partners, or teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Assist in negotiating and finalizing agreements, contracts, or partnerships with Chinese stakeholders.
- Prepare and review documents, presentations, and reports in both Chinese and English/Indonesian.
- Facilitate meetings, conferences, and discussions, providing real-time interpretation as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry-specific terminology in both languages.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align external communications with company goals and values.
- Provide cultural insights and advice to enhance cross-cultural understanding and cooperation.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) and proficiency in English and/or Indonesian.
- Proven experience in translation, interpretation, or a similar liaison role, preferably in a multicultural setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across cultures.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering error-free translations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with business terminology and practices in both Chinese and Indonesian contexts is a plus.
- Degree in Linguistics, Translation, International Relations, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to relocate or travel within Bali as required.
