Responsibility
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to respiratory therapy staff, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate departmental policies, protocols, and quality assurance programs to enhance patient care.
- Oversee the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create integrated care plans.
- Ensure compliance with local and international respiratory care standards, including JCI or equivalent accreditations.
- Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and equipment procurement for the department.
- Conduct training and professional development programs for respiratory therapists and support staff.
- Lead emergency response initiatives, including ventilator management and critical care interventions.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field; Masterās degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy, with 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Active certification (e.g., RRT, CRT) from a recognized body (e.g., NBRC).
- Proven expertise in critical care, pulmonary function testing, and mechanical ventilation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage a diverse team.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, infection control, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in medical software and EHR systems.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
