Responsibility
- Lead the operational strategy and execution for Standard Chartered’s Wealth Solutions division, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Drive operational excellence by optimizing processes, enhancing efficiency, and implementing best practices in risk management and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, compliance, and client services, to deliver seamless wealth management solutions.
- Oversee the development and implementation of scalable operational frameworks to support business growth and client acquisition.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement.
- Ensure robust risk management practices are in place, including adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and client-centricity.
- Partner with senior leadership to shape the strategic direction of the Wealth Solutions business and drive long-term success.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in operations leadership roles within the financial services industry, with a focus on wealth management, private banking, or asset management.
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence, process optimization, and risk management in a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of wealth management products, services, and regulatory frameworks in Asia.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, or equivalent) are a plus.
- Experience working in a global or regional financial institution is highly desirable.
