Responsibility
- Oversee all engineering, maintenance, and technical operations across luxury properties to ensure optimal performance and guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for infrastructure upgrades, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives.
- Lead a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement for engineering projects and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Housekeeping, F&B, Front Office) to enhance operational synergy and service quality.
- Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to preemptively address potential technical issues.
- Drive digital transformation by integrating smart technologies and IoT solutions into property management systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering leadership roles, with at least 5 years in luxury hospitality or resort management.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale engineering projects, budgets, and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building automation in high-end properties.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices, green building standards, and energy management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
