As the Chief Engineer, you will ensure the seamless operation of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, while implementing cutting-edge maintenance programs to enhance guest experiences. Your leadership will drive efficiency, cost savings, and environmental sustainability across our properties in Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, and Badung.

Responsibility
- Oversee all engineering operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems across multiple properties.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and longevity of hotel infrastructure.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with hotel management to align engineering strategies with guest satisfaction and operational efficiency goals.
- Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement processes for engineering supplies and services.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental sustainability practices.
- Drive innovation by evaluating and implementing new technologies to enhance energy efficiency and guest comfort.
- Coordinate emergency response protocols and crisis management for engineering-related incidents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in hotel engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in managing large-scale maintenance programs and engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in engineering software, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), and budgeting tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in energy management or sustainability practices is a plus.
